The Story:  The leather tanning Mom of this family came to my shop to with some basic leather work, which I loved.  A few months later she returned with her kids who had completely reworked their designs.  As you can see, the kids brought a fresh perspective and a utility and beauty in design that is distinctly theirs.   They love the art of leather work, and we can work together to create custom designs to suit your specific needs.

There is only one leather tanner in Belize and she learned the craft from her father who owned the famous “Western Leather”.   They are located on the mainland of Belize near Belmopan, the capital of Belize.  They started out making saddles, belts and other equestrian needs and have recently expanded to fashion design.

Working in a variety of leather types:  Cow, deer and sheep skin of varying thicknesses.
