I don’t cook. Also, I eat like a fussy toddler or a frat boy (redundant?). As I age I become increasingly aware of the need to feed actual “food” to your body (cheese and crackers no longer count as ‘food’). I’m always looking for ways to sneak more nutrition in the few things I do make to eat.

I had no idea about turmeric or it’s uses, so when I found these folks I was shocked to hear about it. It’s pretty good stuff, but it needs to be consumed with black pepper for best absorption, so it’s been added.

It has a rather strong “limey” taste, so I didn’t love it in the banana/strawberry smoothie I like, but i DID absolutely love it in the soy taco mixture I make. It really made the taco seasoning flavor more….taco-y.

Ingredients- The best of Belize. Whole root turmeric, Fresh Lime juice, Cold pressed coconut oil, sea salt and black pepper.

Whats even better is that we work with 350 small growers in Toledo and our team at the factory are all amazing Belizean.
