Great Gift Baskets Built to Order I am an expat from the US, and contacted Lara through her website because I wanted to send family members a "taste of Belize" for holiday gifts. Lara worked with me to customize my gift baskets, making great suggestions, and patiently dealing with my many changes until the packages were "just right"--as well as right on target with my budget. She then sent them through USPS, making shipping costs very reasonable. My family was surprised and pleased with their presents that arrived in less than 2 weeks, and I was so happy to find a convenient way to show them a bit of all the unique products Belize has to offer.

Great Belize Made Goods I was looking for a pet sitter present and this shop was recommended from Mesa Restaurant nearby. She has all kinds of Belize made items for household use, gifts, children toys, books, lotions, etc. The owner is very helpful and friendly.

Local handmade goods Cute shop upstairs with all items local to Belize. Owner is friendly, as is her dog, and she’ll share information about all of the products. A must have is the coconut oil based, reef safe SPF 50 sunscreen, made by the owner. Currently limited hours, 10-1 M/Tu/Th/F, so make sure to find time to check it out.

Great Belizean Store Great little store, owner & dog were super friendly! Everything is made in Belize & the owner knows all the background on her pieces! She has tons of great quality items! Will definitely be back if we are ever back on the island!

Excellent This was a port stop in our cruise. We loved all the seasonings and body butters we purchased!!! So much that I ordered more when I got home. 5 bottles of body butter for family members. My order arrived in perfect condition to milwaukee in a couple weeks. I will keep ordering from this company!! Very friendly!

The one shop you MUST visit on Ambergris Caye This is a must-stop for anyone visiting Ambergris Caye. You will find a broad selection of curated items all made in Belize. Whether you are looking for a unique souvenir for a friend or family member, something for yourself or your home, or just something different, you will find it at 12 Belize. You will also find an owner to be a font of knowledge about the island and the products she sells. She warned me as I walked in that she would occasionally spout random facts as I browsed the small shop and it’s diverse selection. Which she did. I learned about the products she sold, the materials of which they were made, and the artisans who made them. We also spent time just talking about the island and the people. It was a great time, I learned a great deal, and I walked out with a few items I wouldn’t be able to find anywhere else. This will definitely be a stop for me for every trip to Ambergris Caye. It is tucked away on the second floor of a courtyard in San Pedro — just north of the airport. I’m glad I sought it out.

Fantastic Shop! My sister and I visited this shop and walked out not only with authentic and unique items but also knowledge on the artisans as well as interesting conversation with the shop owner. I loved this shop and we both bought multiple items. They have everything from ornaments, jewelry, pillow covers, bags, dolls, and many other items. We enjoyed talking with the shop owner and she told us some places to visit in mainland Belize and Guatemala. Definitely find this shop and pay a visit while in San Pedro.
